From the emergence occurrences of events on human lives and properties etc are eroding the very objective of our founding fathers. The amalgamation foundation of the Country is beginning to crack and if not amended quickly, it will come to a stage that nothing could be done to salvage it.
Sometimes one wonders how some Nigerians react on certain issues by trying to buttress their claims by making references to other countries. Little do they understand what those countries went through before the achievement and the level they are.
What many Nigerians need for us to get it right, is patience, endurance, tolerance and other virtues as exemplified by God Almighty, without such qualities it shall be difficult to get it right.
With Nigeria situation at moment, there should be a revisit to all records in the archive regarding the 1914 amalgamation of north and south ,if it was done on the concert agreement of all the involved parties without rancor , or done under duress or compulsory. If there was an element of disagreement then that is resurfacing and like a climbing plant, an urgent attention should be drawn to it before it goes out of hand. On this, an immediate constitutional conference which has been avoided by past regimes should be called, if a path of thorough understanding of ourselves and integration of attitudes, etc in order to remain as an indivisible entity .Who is afraid of the conference that is being avoided ?Is there a dangerous skeleton in the cupboard that people are scared of.
If we did away with the national anthem because of western involvement, then it becomes imperative for the amalgamation to be viewed critically due to western involvement too by the wife of lord luggard. No one should be advocating for the disintegration of the country at this time although nature has divided the country into three or four sub countries when a critical observation is made on the map. i.e Easthern and southern parts ,western part , northern part and perhaps middle belt being viewed as integral part of the Northern part .we have had several changes of government during the military era and of each of regime are welcome by Nigerians with thundering applauds and ovations in spite of good innovation for changes some act has denied Nigerians of the qualities of patience , tolerance , endurance etc .Each come with some innovations but quickly accepted by Nigerians but after a little while , they became tired disenchanted and saw the innovation as too harsh and draconic and opted for another change and when there is a topple of the government there would be a thunderous ovation .this scenario is a common observation even at this democratic era .It occurred again at the recent removal of petrol subsidy despite government promises of transparency on accrued fund from subsidy and emergence of palliative measure yet many are defiant ,rather advocating for the removal or resignation of the president. WHEN SHALL WE THEN GET IT RIGHT? Let us for once be patience , tolerance and endure if we must get it right.
If there had been unfulfilled promises in the midst of government good intention from the past rulers of different regions, let us endure with this region[south south]being the first slot might spring surprises after all we have never had a promise from the region or South East. These two regions might open the doors of good things for the nation.
Nigerians should be grateful to God Almighty for the grant of independence and republican status with any blood shed or unlike others that got theirs by paying a high price.
Wasting of precious blood of the Igbos should stop forth with ,Igbos have sacrificed a lot for the harmony of the Nation yet always single out as a sacrificial lamb. When shall the killing stop?.Among the tribes in Nigeria Igbos are highly de tribalised and the character is obvious .Imagine the degree of aggression on them yet they protect the lives and properties of their aggressors .No part of the nation you will not find them ,this a demonstration of oneness.

HAUSAS ARE THE ONES KILLING US. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE HAUSAS. Elsewhere in Nigeria, we prosper.
