But your 2nd comment is both interesting and challenging! You mean you would still take him back after about 18yrs of each going different ways? After the “cheat” experience?

May be the “cheat” thought wasnt actually a reality but an assumption? That seems to back-up some men commentators who feel sooooo bad that their Igbo wives used similar accusation to deal crush on them.

Not surprised. Aliyu Babangida has always been a friendly and intelligent voice from the North. The man is destined for national office. Ado Bayero’s family has always maintained friendship with Ojukwu since he commanded the Nigerian army in Kano. Great news for national unity. Thanks all men of goodwill up North. Keep that way, and we will reciprocate.

@ Olaudah. Aburi Accord if it were implemented, would have resulted in a better Nigeria. In case you forgot, it was going to result in a confederacy, while tensions eased. Gowon and his short sighted, criminal and blood thirsty gang, reneged and started their war of extermination against Igbo people.

The extermination language was part of the Nigerian Military Doctrine at the time. The tone had to change, because of new realities, brought about by Biafra’s resistance and self defense.

I hope the celebration is not premature. By the way Abia and Imo are oil producing States. There is big oil and small oil, if you know what I mean.
